Job Description

Senior Infrastructure EngineerLocation: BirminghamSalary: up to £55,000 D.O.E + Unrivalled BenefitsSector: Software My client, an award-winning media provider are looking for a senior infrastructure engineer (Mac focused) to join their senior team and be responsible for their internal IT and collaboration systems. Their multi-site, leading-edge tech that they provideis heavily dependent on cloud infrastructure services.Responsibilities

  • Manage & update the whole IT infrastructure
  • Configuring Servers, VMs, Storage, Network equipment etc (Cisco)
  • Provide senior support to a range of users
  • Project delivery, including upcoming office relocation
  • Managing junior IT Technicians
  • Work closely with the Head of IT to ensure all systems are operating efficiently
Essential Skills/Experience
  • Apple Mac - Software & hardware
  • CCNP or CCNA certification needed
  • Servers - Linux / Dell / Windows
  • Google Cloud / Workspace
  • VMware / Hyper V
  • Storage Solutions - NAS/SAN
  • Strong networking experience - Configuration of Routers & Switches
  • Firewalls & VPNs
  • VOIP / SIP - Configuration
  • MDM - Preferably JAMF or Meraki
  • Project experience
  • Team management
  • Excellent communication skills
