Job Description

An opportunity has become available for a Senior Geotechnical Engineer to join a leading multidisciplinary engineering consultancy in Birmingham. My award winning client is renowned for providing a very high standard of work, clients range across a variety of sectors including; infrastructure, industrial and commercial.Skills/Qualifications Required:

  • Experience working with Eurocode design including foundations, temporary works, soil nails, ground anchors and the sit investigation management
  • Strong academic background in a relevant engineering discipline e.g. BEng/MEng PhD in Civil, Geotechnical, Structural engineering.
  • Detailed geotechnical design engineering solutions, drawings and specifications including slope stability, earthworks, basements, deep excavations and/or retaining structures
  • Knowledge of geo-environmental engineering and its interaction with geotechnical design would be a benefit
  • You will be expected to combine site work with design work and investigation and project management
  • Occasional travel to the UK will be required
