Job Description

Senior Geospatial Surveyor - Birmingham, West Midlands£35,000-£40,000 + BenefitsEngineering and Environmental Consultancy with a UK wide presence are looking for a Senior Geospatial Surveyor to join the engineering team in the Midlands office and act as the main point of contact for a number of large projects across the UK.The successful Senior Geospatial Surveyor will need to have a minimum of 4 years experience in this field and have a range of project site experiences including local authorities, schools, residential, universities, developers and retail.The key duties of the Senior Geospatial Surveyor will include:

  • Acting as the lead surveyor on projects, working in close proximity with the customer whether in the office, remotely or on site. (site work is expected 2 days a week on average)
  • Undertaking topographical surveys and laser scanning using a range of scanning equipment including Leica.
  • Writing detailed reports and then utilising previous experience in fee proposals to provide recommendation to the project team.
  • Act as a point of expertise to the management team, as well as the client highlighting any issues with the potential project.
  • Attend specific training where needed.
