We are looking for a Senior Full Stack Developer for one of our clients, an award-winning digital marketing agency based in Birmingham. They are looking to hire an experienced full stack PHP developer to join their existing team who are responsible for delivering solutions to several established nationwide companies. Responsibilities The successful candidate will be responsible for developing websites and digital experiences of the highest quality. The candidate will need to produce code that follows coding standards and best practices, ensuring to test their work prior to client review. You will also be responsible for working alongside fellow developers as well as with management, design teams and clients to ensure that the company can create the best product possible. Though the role is remote based, the candidate may sometimes be expected to attend meetings at their offices in Birmingham or Kendal, as well as to travel to meet clients. Key Skills The successful candidate will have to show: • Strong experience with PHP • Strong experience with Yii Framework 2 or other similar MVC frameworks • Strong experience with Javascript • A working knowledge of HTML, CSS and SASS • Ability to produce clean and effective code • Ability to be able to communicate effectively • A track record of having created quality websites. Additional Skills As well as these, the ideal candidate will show: • Experience with CI/CD pipelines. • Experience with Photoshop/Sketch/Figma • Experience with project management software such as Jira or Trello. • Experience with Shopify • Experience in an Agile environment • A willingness to learn and deploy new skills.
