We are supporting our global IT solutions client in Birmingham to appoint a Senior FP&A Analyst for an impressive 2021+ strategy to drive both firm-wide improvement and profitability which was up in 2020.A blend of remote and office working optional.The Senior FP&A Analyst will take responsibility for reporting and monitoring of all central cost centres being the first point of contact for several recently acquired business units. You will provide national Commercial Managers with commercially fluent and pure analytical information relating to their performance against budget, analyse key variances ensuring continued accuracy of the the reporting and forecasting processes.Lastly, you will have active involvement in an exciting European wide data transformation programme providing insightful & meaningful analysis to the Transformation team on specialist projects. This role will place you at the centre of an innovative business in your effort to understand the drivers of the business performance, and build effective relationships across the company. Ideally, you will: • Be recently qualified (CIMA, ACCA, ACA) with experience of preparing management reports and variance analysis to an accurate level• Be used to working at pace, demonstrating the organisational skills to effectively balance many different priorities simultaneously• Have experience of a similar role (i.e. financial analysis, financial planning, coordination of budgeting, etc.) in another fast-paced business or Big 4 practice.• Demonstrate instances in which you have been able to add tangible value• Be ambitious and motivated, with evident qualities of initiative and driveIn return, you will:• Work in a very progressive, proactive, fast-paced business during a period of rapid growth• Gain direct commercial and operational exposure in a varied and exciting roleEnjoy outstanding career progression prospects in an environment that focusses on developing and progressing its staffThis is a great opportunity for an ambitious, commercially minded Accountant to gain direct operational exposure in a globall recognised business.
