Job Description

Senior Fire Engineer - BirminghamWe have a new opportunity for an experienced Senior Fire Engineer to join a Chartered property and construction company in Birmingham. You will have the chance to work on a variety of projects, ranging from pre-construction through to post-construction, including office & commercial spaces, residential developments, and educational buildings.About the candidate:

  • You will have a wealth of experience to bring to the Fire Engineering team having worked in a UK consultancy for several years. Within this time, youll have become familiar with the development of fire solutions within the built environment as well as having managed a team of Engineers.
  • A full UK driving license is required.
  • IFE Membership.
  • Educated to degree level in Fire Engineering, or another relevant discipline.
    • About the role:
  • Undertake fire engineering design and analysis.
  • Fire risk assessments when necessary.
  • Fire modelling using software including CFAST.
  • Report writing.
  • Liaising with clients to provide advice in relation to fire safety design.
