Job Description

We are looking for a Senior Environmental Consultant, a few years into their career who is looking for opportunities to develop. We are seeking a candidate to support with project delivery across our growing team and our portfolio of clients. The ideal candidatewill be part of our Southern team and the location can be flexible across the UK; however your nearest local office will ideally be our Birmingham office. We are offering a competitive salary of between £35,000 - £49,000 depending on skills and experience.Role Responsibility

  • Provide environmental advice to clients, targeted to their needs
  • Deliver high quality technical documents, ensuring the best outcome for the client,
  • Communicate within the team and externally to clients with confidence and clarity,
  • Project Manage delivery of client requirements, including drafting proposals, organising task completion, tracking project costs and invoicing,
  • Manage several projects at once, balancing delivery and client outcomes,
  • Collaborate and work with our global Inogen Partners,
  • Report to and support direct line manager and EHS Leadership Team on successful delivery of the business plan/financial targets for EHS.
The Ideal Candidate
  • Bachelor’s degree in relevant subject or demonstration of equivalent qualification or work experience.
  • Membership of environmental body, working towards eventual Chartered Status (e.g. IEMA, CIWEM).
  • Minimum of 5 years experience of environmental consultancy
  • Working knowledge of Environmental regulations and guidance (knowledge of some H&S legislation an advantage).
  • Experience / awareness in Environmental Permitting.
  • Strong work ethic, and the ability to work effectively and intuitively either alone or in a small team.
  • Sound communication and personal effectiveness skills.
  • Good organisational skills
  • A developing ability to build and maintain effective working relationships at all levels.
  • A full UK Driving Licence
