Job Description

Senior Full Stack Developer Home based - (javascript, react js, node js, AWS, Babel, Gulp, Grunt)Due to continued success and the knowledge that technology really is at the forefront of everything they do, my National market leading client have asked me to help find them several highly skilled Senior Developers to join their ever expanding teamThe roles will be 100% home based but they have asked us to really find the best talent the Midlands can offerMy client is a big advocate of using all latest technologies and principles which include working in AWS and DevOps and Infrastructure as Code for continuous improvement.Key Responsibilities as the Senior Software/ Fullstack Developer will include:

  • Writing maintainable, tested and compliant code.
  • Provide secure, scalable solutions with proper documentation
  • Participate in code reviews and guide software engineers to implement the latest programming techniques and tools.
  • Where possible you will be asked to support and develop software engineers by providing advice, coaching and educational opportunities. This would also include being able to be a mentor for the more junior level developers within the team
Essential experience as the Senior Software/ Fullstack Developer include:
  • Strong commercial experience with:
  • HTML, CSS, Javascript
  • React and Node JS
  • An understanding of HTTP, caching and how the web worksUnderstanding of the different JavaScript versions. Main features of ES6.
  • A clear understanding of front-end build tools. e.g. Babel, Gulp, Grunt
Additional experience in the below is desirable but not essential:
  • Familiarity with Database e.g. DynamoDB, PostgreSQL or MySQL
  • You will have managed multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
  • Previous experience leading and delivering multiple complex features and projects and has extensive experience of web development.
