A Senior Data Engineer opportunity has arisen to work part of a consultancy who value human-centred thinking to allow them to provide more inclusive services across the private and public sector. What person in technology doesnt like to learn You will be involved in contributing to Blogs, Seminars, which will get your blood flowing and your limitless passion for data will inspire others around you. Tech wise, its you will have some or all of the following:- - Broad knowledge across cloud architectures, networking and distributed computing systems - Proficiency in Bash, R, Python, Terraform, Java/.NET and/or PowerShell desirable - Experience of data system design such as Data Lakes, Data Meshes and Data Warehouses. - Experience of a wide range of data sources, SQL, NoSQL and Graph. - A proven track record of infrastructure delivery on any data platform (Splunk, Elastic, Redshift, Data Bricks, Snowflake etc). - Strong and demonstrable experience writing regular expressions and/or JSON parsing, etc. - Strong experience in log processing (Cribl, Splunk, Elastic, Apache NiFi etc.) - Expertise in the production of dashboard/insight delivery - Be able to demonstrate a reasonable level of security awareness (An understanding of basic security best practices, OAuth, MFA, TLS, etc.) Come and chat to us about the role further, to give you a real scope of the business, their movements going forward and how you can make an impact.
