Job Description

Well respected regulator requires a Senior Data Analyst to join their organisation on a permanent basis.You will be involved in all aspects of the data function. Implementing projects, contributing towards the growth of data usage within the organisation to help inform overall strategy development and delivery.To succeed in this role, you will exhibit all/most of the following:-

  • Passionate about data and have a strong understanding of its uses and limitations Background in data analytical work, preferably within company or financial markets.
  • Understanding of financial and accounting data.
  • Knowledgeable in Power BI, SQL, Scripting (Python).
  • Highly proficient in Microsoft Excel.
  • Proven technical experience with data models and database design development.
  • Degree in quantitative discipline / recognised data analyst qualification.
  • Experience extracting structured and unstructured data from 3rd party sources would be a bonus.
As a Senior employee you will be expected to help mentor junior members of the team. As such, strong communication skills and confident engagement with stakeholders across the organisation will also be key.In return youll find a highly competitive package with good salary + extensive benefits.
