  • Review and assess new business applications, evaluating risk factors and determining appropriate coverage options.
  • Analyse complex data sets, financial statements, and underwriting guidelines to make informed decisions.
  • Collaborate with brokers, agents, and other stakeholders to gather necessary information and negotiate terms.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, internal policies, and industry best practices.
  • Provide exceptional customer service by promptly addressing inquiries and resolving issues.
Requirements:
  • Experience as a P&C Underwriter or in a similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of underwriting principles, risk assessment, and insurance policies.
  • Excellent analytical and decision-making skills with a keen attention to detail.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities to effectively collaborate with various stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in industry-specific software and tools.
