Work as part of the overall buying team to develop an exceptional range in line with the brand strategy.Analysis of market and competitor trendsClient DetailsOur client is an established ladies fashion retailer based in the west midlands area are looking for a talented individual to join and support the Buying team as a Senior Buyer. The company continues to design and develop products for a broad range of consumers, seeking to bring the correct look and fit customers of all ages they utilising the highest quality fabrics and raw materials to ensure that theproduct fits beautifully, and performs well.Description

  • Work as part of the overall buying team to develop an exceptional range in line with the brand strategy.
  • Place all initial orders in line with forecasts and agreed minimum quantities to ensure delivery.
  • To ensure all administration of areas is up to date and accurate.
  • To lead and develop a team.
  • Manage and maintain critical path.
  • Analysis of market and competitor trends
  • Presenting proposals for future range development
  • Lead on supplier meetings - communications/negotiating prices/minimum quantities/lead times and range finalisation meetings.
