Job Description

Technical Sales Business Development Manager - Home Based - UK wide. Key Account acquisition within the Eduction / Leisure or Retail sector. A phenomenal Senior BDM role - Long sales cycle.Target : 1 New Key Account in year the first 18months - To build a Key Account Portfolio and Manage 1 existing Key Account and provide leadership and ultimately progression to Business Development Director with Key Accounts. Leading a SmallUK Technical Sales Team.Fantastic basic salary - Superb Car Allowance and excellent bonus structure - but - A big picture opportunity!A wonderful SME - European wide reporting to the European Sales Director - A motivated and high energy leader, who is humble, down to earth and hands on in terms of supporting on the ground level, but far from micro management!A 7mil turnover in the UK with the biggest potential of any of the European Offices.We are looking forn intelligent, super communcator with a superb track record (5 years+) of business development sales experience.

Role:
  • You are reporting into the European Sales Director and work closely together with other regional key stake holders to generate New Key Accounts within 1 specific sector.
  • You will also manage existing Retail Key Account customers and important influencers.
  • You grow our presence in the sector for our energy saving products, systems and services.
  • You build up partners for installation, 3rd party products and services in order to offer turnkey project in the UK.
  • (The management side of the role will evolve down the line as the Key Account acquisition is the priority in year 1)
The successful candidate: (Does not need to have industry or technical sales exp)but you must have:
  • Strong sales professional business to business experience with excellent bigger ticket, solution sales track record.
  • Strong education - Great communication skills - Provent track record of success with long sales cycles (1-2 years in length)
  • Strong communication skills, able to build up trust and relationship to employees as well as Key Account customers on all kind of level.
  • Structured working approach and likes to use all IT tools like ERP, CRM and relating sales reports to run the business by targets and KPIs.
  • Strong will and ambition to really grow a business by winning new customers, maintaining them and developing a long term growth strategy in the UK market.
