Job Description

To be considered for this role it is essential to have:

  • Ideally ICE Engineering Technician
  • Understanding of DMRB standards, particularly CS 450 for inspecting highways structures
  • Good communication skills
  • Experience in road or rail projects
  • Commitment to comply with Health and Safety at Work and meeting the needs of our clients
Daily responsibilities include:
  • Leading inspections, including the planning and programming of inspections of a variety of highway and railway structures such as bridges, culverts, subways, retaining walls etc.
  • Liaison directly with client and others third parties as needed.
  • Preparing and checking inspection reports including producing and reviewing sketches and drawings within AutoCAD.
  • Maintaining of inspection equipment.
  • Assisting with the commercial and financial control of your project.
  • Supervising and mentoring junior inspectors in both the office and on site.
  • Report writing and checking inspection reports and Health and Safety documents.
