Location: BirminghamSalary: £25,805 - £30,358 paHours: Full timeContract: PermanentThis is an exciting opportunity for a passionate and experienced customer service professional to join one of our customer services teams.The General Dental Council (GDC) is the UK-wide statutory regulator of dental practitioners. 95% of the GDC’s income stems from registration fees. The Senior Renewal & Income Officer plays a key role within the Renewal Team, which is responsible for theannual retention of 115,000 dental professionals to the registers.You will be responsible for ensuring our customers are able to pay their annual renewal fees, maintaining our online registers, and working with our third party supplier to get high quality letters and emails to customers on time.About you: You will be a team player with the ability to engage confidently and effectively with customers, demonstrating empathy, tact and discretion whilst discussing sensitive issues or complaints with customers and colleagues.You will have a keen eye for detail, and be able to follow processes, analyse databases and excel spreadsheets, and have good problem-solving skills.If you have a keen eye for detail, enjoy working through projects and have a natural ability to explain complex information easily, we would love to hear from you.About us: The General Dental Council (GDC) is the UK-wide statutory regulator of around 110,000 members of the dental team.
