Job Description

Are you a Qualified Teacher or an ECT looking for an extremely rewarding role Have you got experience supporting children/adults with SEN needs either in a personal or professional capacity You could be perfect this role.Academics are recruiting for SEND Supply Teacher for a vibrant and exciting specialist school in North Birmingham that caters to pupils aged 2-25 years. This school has been continually Outstanding since 2001 and strives to ensure that all pupils individual needs are met through a highly personalised curriculum. Thiscurriculum operates from the developmental equivalent of 3-6 months old to the National curriculum for Year 6/7 pupils so the successful applicant(s) must be flexible in their approach.Your role as a SEND Supply Teacher would be to delivering innovative a creative lesson plans that will meet the differing needs of the children in your care. You will need good interpersonal skills as you will be the first point of call for children in yourcare.You, as the successful candidate may:

  • Be a Qualified Teacher or Early Career Teacher
  • Be able to plan and/or deliver creative and exciting lesson plans to a smaller-sized class.
  • Be a caring individual with energy, drive and enthusiasm.
  • Have the ability to work as part of team, alongside teaching and support staff

Requirements:
  • Qualified Teacher Status/ Enrolled on a Teacher Training course
