Job Description

SEN Teaching Assistant for Interventions | Saltley, B8 We are recruiting for an experienced Teaching Assistant to support an outstanding primary school in the Saltley, B8 area. The role would be full time, working 8:30am - 3:40pm, Monday to Friday during term time. The role will be supporting a student in Year5 with interventions.

  • Full Time (Finish at 1pm Fridays)
  • 1:1 SEN Support
  • £320 - £350 per week after deductions
The roles will involve working with children on a 1:1 and intervention group basis. You will be required to have experience working in a similar setting. The children will have a range of needs that create challenges for them to successfully access the curriculum.The successful teaching assistants will be required to work in a range of year groups. These roles would be ideal for anyone looking to extend their skills in working with children ahead of teacher training.Teaching assistants at school provide a range of classroom support which can include teaching groups of children under the direction of a teacher. The roles will involve supporting groups and individuals with special educational needs and implementing nextstep plans. TAs supervise classes for EYFS, KS1 & KS2.
