You do not need a Level 3 SEN Teaching Assistant qualification;however, it is preferred. Most importantly, you should have experience working with EYFS and KS1 pupils with SEN in an SEN school or a similar setting.The SEN Teaching Assistant Role:As an SEN Teaching Assistant at this school, you will be supporting pupils in their lesson with their learning and engagement. You will need to be confident in differentiating work to suit their level of ability and altering your approach to support the needsof the child.
