Job Description

Our client is a security systems specialist company support an extensive and diverse range of organisations across the UK including large blue-chip companies, as well as SMEs, Local Authorities, NHS Trusts, schools and colleges.The business prides itself on delivering a high-quality service with their flexible, focused teams offering the best solutions.

  • Basic Salary of up to £35,000 + Overtime and Call outs.
  • Laptop, mobile phone and company vehicle provided.
  • Working hours are Monday to Friday (40-hour week).
  • Full-time, Temp to Perm Position.
  • Location: Based from home. Attending clients sites across the East Midlands & South Yorkshire areas.
Your role as a Security Service Engineer will include:
  • Installing, commissioning and maintaining security systems
  • Identifying faults, and repairing and replacing system components as necessary
  • Completing paperwork accurately and timely
  • Maintaining van stocks of materials and necessary tools
  • Delivering excellent customer service at all times
Experienced Required:
  • Working knowledge of CCTV, Access Control and Intruder alarm systems (IP and analogue)
  • A relevant qualification or equivalent within the electrical industry
  • Knowledge of current British and Security Inspectorate Standards
  • Experience of working within a service environment
  • Fully conversant with current products within the security industry
  • Proactive and customer focused approach to work
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Good attention to detail
  • Ability to take responsibility, capability of working on own initiative and effective as part of a team
  • Smart professional appearance
  • Full UK driving licence
