Security Operations and Incident Response Manager - Birmingham (Hybrid) - £70k - £75k - Legal Azure | CISSP | Incident Response | SOC | Team Management | Phishing E-mails | Cyber Salary: £70,000 - £75,000Location: Birmingham (Hybrid) Are you an experienced IT security professional, looking for a new challenge in your career Do you have demonstrable experience of responding effectively and efficiently to Cyber threats Have you got experience of conducting internal Data Loss Preventioninvestigations Do you have an excellent understanding of threat vectors, risk management and incident management Interested in working for an innovative and award-winning company who support the development of your career If so, I have a fantastic opportunityfor you!Im looking to speak with individuals who can manage the outsourced Managed Security Service Provider. You will be able to demonstrate that you can motivate and manage a small team and develop key stakeholder relationships. You must be familiar with MS Azureand O365 security toolsetsKey Responsibilities

  • Daily management of the Security Operations and Incident Response Team
  • Investigate and resolve security related events from various appliances and toolsets
  • Manage and improve security incident response procedures
  • Evaluate and approve security technology changes that will benefit the business
  • Become the SME for Cyber investigations
  • Assess potential improvements that the company can make by monitoring industry trends and products
  • Take the lead on configuration management of Data Loss Prevention on endpoint devices
  • Develop and maintain key stakeholder relationships
The Ideal Candidate
  • Previously managed a team
  • Strong understanding of security technologies and principles
  • Knowledgeable of security concepts such as cyber-attacks, threat vectors, risk and incident management
  • Understanding of techniques used by threat actors
  • Capable of managing high level stakeholder relationships
  • Able to interpret system / device logs and events, identify patterns of behaviour and IOCs
Desired experience with:
  • Threat and compliance management
  • Windows, Firewall, Endpoint security provisions, IDS/IPS, email principles and security enhancements, Web Proxy and SIEM
  • Leading technical security issues through to resolution, incident response co-ordination
  • MS Azure / O365 security toolsets
  • Threat and compliance management
