Job Description

Security Engineer (Hybrid) - £50k - Legal Cisco | Patch Management | Vulnerability Management | Azure | Firepower | Windows Server Salary: £50,000Location: Hybrid (Any UK Office) Are you an experienced IT security professional, looking for a new challenge in your career Do you have demonstrable experience with managing production and security infrastructure on a day-to-day basis Have you got knowledge and experience in Cisco technologiesDo you have an excellent understanding of Windows Server Interested in working for an innovative and award-winning company who support the development of your career If so, I have a fantastic opportunity for you!Im looking to speak with individuals who are experienced in vulnerability management. You will be experienced in using Firepower and also have worked with Azure in the past. You must be a self-motivated team player who can work in a demanding environmentand apply logic to solving any problems that may occur.Key Responsibilities

  • Daily responsibility of the companys IT security policy and the lifecycle tasks of all related equipment.
  • Managing all production and security infrastructure on a daily basis, including vulnerability scanning, patch management, firewalls/IPS and cloud security.
  • Daily management of anti-malware, monitoring platforms and web and email filtering/proxying.
  • Assist with the effective and timely resolution of any technical issues arising on the production and security infrastructure.
  • Involvement in security certifications and client audits, such as Cyber Security Essentials+ certification process.
  • Work within change control and asset maintenance guidelines.
The Ideal Candidate
  • Minimum of 3 years experience in a similar role.
  • Previous experience with Microsoft, Cisco, VMware, Citrix and Azure.
  • Strong knowledge of HP and Cisco server hardware.
  • Previous experience of working closely with other teams in a technical environment.
  • Ability to work under pressure and communicate with staff at all levels.
Desired experience with:
  • Cisco enterprise security platforms, Stealthwatch, Umbrella, AMP, ISE
  • Cisco IDS/IPS administration, development and monitoring
  • Cisco firewall rule-base management
  • Nessus / Tennable.io vulnerability scanning solutions
  • Azure administration and security
  • Fault resolution within a Microsoft Windows Server environment
  • Security patch management for all relevant hardware and software
