Securities Team Operations Manager BirminghamAs a Barclays Securities Team Operations Manager, you will have full oversight of Performance management for Team Leaders and Process Expert direct reports. Within this role you will develop, coach & motivate whilst also managing the collateral journey forboth BUK and BI clients. The Collateral Function process case transactions with a range of complexity across multiple processes, suppliers & system components operating within the PCB Product range. What will you be doing • Managing Collateral business unit, setting goals, being responsible for performance management, development, coaching, training, and motivating of the Collateral Unit • Being the key stakeholder contact point within the function, acting with autonomy re all issues relating to Collateral case escalations/risk events/SLA/Quality • Owning the Collateral Function service metrics including transaction management, overtime budget control and service outcome reporting • Being responsible for day-to-day decisions re capacity management to ensure procedures and processes are followed and appropriate support provided • Handling oversight of processes to ensure effective Collateral query resolution, onshore escalations and workflow activity • Being responsible for the collateral Function service metrics including transaction management, overtime budget control and service outcome reporting What were looking for: • Experience in the financial services industry, specifically business lending and security • Some team management exposure • Excellent knowledge and experience in operations management and leadership • Excellent relationship skills - ability to build relationships with teams and third parties e.g. Solicitors Skills that will help you in the role: • Excellent organisational skills, ability to prioritise task and meet deadlines • Good commercial awareness Where will you be working Barclays Snowhill is at the heart of the professional district and commands a workforce of around 1000.
