Science ECT – ErdingtonAre you due to complete your PGCE this academic year, or have you recently gained Qualified Teacher Status Are you looking to secure a Science ECT role for SeptemberIf so, look no further than this Science ECT vacancy that we are currently recruiting for.*** Science ECT*** Permanent role, undertaking full teaching responsibilities*** Ofsted ‘Good’ school located in East Birmingham*** Science ECT vacancy, starting September 2023*** £28,000 per annumThe Science ECT Role:As a Science ECT, you will be delivering lessons in biology, chemistry, and physics to students across Key Stages 3 and 4, up to GCSE level. As a Science ECT, you will not be expected to deliver the GCSE Higher course, however you will work with other teachingstaff to ensure a diverse curriculum is being delivered. It is important that you track the progress of your pupils, and attempt to make your lessons as engaging and informative as possible. You will need to deliver practical experiments, both demonstratingthese to the class and supervising pupils – it is important that health and safety procedures are followed at all times in the laboratory.The Science ECT:To be eligible for this Science ECT role, you must have received Qualified Teacher Status by September 2023, specifically for working within secondary education as a Science ECT. You should be able to demonstrate excellent curriculum knowledge, strong behaviourmanagement skills and a passion for improving pupil outcomes.
