Job Description

Are you experienced in SAP security and SAP IT controlsHave you worked in Sox or ICOFR environmentsIf yes, then this could be the ideal next opportunity for you!My client is looking for an Audit Assurance specialist to ensure financial and IT governance is maintained to the highest standards at all times for one of the largest organisations in the UK.

  • The role will be a SAP expert, and would have experience in working on major SOx Programmes, and have extensive experience in auditing practices.
  • Role is vital to delivering our SOx compliance & MFB ITGC commitments, not only will it undertake the actual reconciliations and operate key financial and customer experience controls, but this role will also have to face in to the 1st and 2nd line of defenceinternal and our external auditors.
  • The role will be responsible for drafting all of the ITGC Risk and Control Matrices (RACMs) for MFB apps and implement them
  • Providing (first line) assurance that appropriate IT controls are designed, implemented and effectively operated for BT to comply with regulatory Sarbanes Oxley s404 & ICA IT Control obligations. Ensuring that the required controls are working correctlythroughout the reporting period (year).
  • Acting as an expert in one or more key IT processes, providing insight and expertise.
  • Using expert knowledge to provide the senior managers responsible for controls (MDs, Platform Directors and Senior Management Team Members) with the most current guidance on the applicable control requirements.
  • Managing the liaison between BT and its auditors to agree scoping and approaches to test controls as part of the 3 lines of defence governance framework. Developing, managing and leading the required test programme(s) to provide the required managementassurance over IT Control effectiveness.
  • Ensuring that requirements, timelines, quality of information requirements are all understood and delivered by responsible directors
