Job Description

Processing International sales and purchase orders and returns efficiently, working to tight deadlines, adapting to the various demands of the role. Liaising with suppliers and hauliers daily to ensure the most cost-effective method of supply is achieved.Client DetailsMy client have a huge catalogue of tile ranges and a wide variety of bespoke tile cutting services, they also provide comprehensive technical information for all of their products.DescriptionThe key responsililbities Sales Support & Operations Co-ordinator include:

  • Liaise with customers and suppliers by telephone, fax and e-mail
  • Produce and send pricing schedules to non-corporate and corporate customers as required
  • Process architect / contractor sample requests, including web requests as required by your designated Area Sales Manager / Corporate Team
  • Provide product specific data sheets as requested
  • Provide Cleaning and Maintenance Schedules as required
  • Ensure accurate placement of orders with manufacturers and suppliers
  • Arrange cost effective international transportation of orders from our factory partners in Europe for onward delivery to global project sites
  • Organise Express and container deliveries direct to site
  • Organise UK transportation to site where necessary
  • Acknowledge ongoing status of order to the customer
  • Prepare Sales Order documentation for dispatch
  • Collating new product code detail for Stock loaders to be added to SAP by Stock Control
ProfileThe ideal candidate for the Sales Support and Operations Co-Ordinator will have the below experience and skills to:
  • Similar previous role.
  • Previous international transportation experience will be considered a clear advantage
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal, to motivate and encourage staff, to deal effectively with internal and external contacts ranging from executive to administrative levels, and to produce effective summaries andreports as required
  • Highly-motivated self-starter, with a positive, professional attitude, strong work ethic, and critical attention to detail
  • Evidence of strong analytical skills and strategic thinking
  • High degree of personal integrity and professional accountability
  • Previous use of SAP is desirable but not essential
