They have rapid growth and expansion in place for this department, and they are looking for an Sales Manager who will be instrumental in this process.In this fully remote role, you will be responsible for leading a high profile and varied energy transition with a strong focus on face to face customer interaction. These could include advising board level sales pitches on net zero strategies, decarbonisationof the energy sector, the future of gas, low carbon technology assessments and much more.The ideal candidate will have demonstrable experience in a sales/business development/commercial management position specifically within the Renewable Energy industry, or will have some other form of relevant industry experience such as having worked with anelectrical business or an EPC company.The Role:Chasing up on enquiries sent into the businessEngaging in long-term business development with high-profile clients for larger-scale projectsLiaising with design/surveying functions of the business to support in sales processOverseeing own sales opportunities from start to finishTravelling to potential and existing clientsThe Person:Previous experience in a sales/business development/commercial management rolePrevious experience in Renewable Energy sector or transferrable background e.g Electrical, renewablesBased anywhere in UKFull UK driving licence
