Sales Manager - Floor & Wall ProtectionJob Title: Sales Manager - Temporary Floor & Wall Protection ProductsIndustry Sector: Flooring Contractors, Flooring Sub Contractors, Temporary Construction Protection, Temporary Protection Products Flooring Protection, Flooring, Protection Products, Interiors, Soft furnishings, Flooring Contractors, Large Construction Companies, Fit Out Contractors, Main Contractors, Sub Contractors, Refurbishments, New Build, Shopfitting, Interior Fit-OutArea to be covered: NationalRemuneration: £50,000-£70,000neg + negotiable bonus Benefits: negotiable car allowance & comprehensive benefits packageThe role of the Sales Manager - Temporary Floor & Wall Protection Products will involve:

  • Field sales position selling a comprehensive high quality range of manufactured temporary construction protection products and accessories for flooring, interior finishes, bathrooms and scaffolding
  • Majority of your time will be spent selling to flooring contractors, specialist sub-contractors such as joiners, interior fit out contractors, glazers, bathroom fitters and shop fitters
  • The remaining small portion of your time will be spent developing more long term business via main contractors and housebuilders
  • Will to tasked to grow the role into a key account position and boost revenue turnover nationally
  • Dealing with clients who have a typical annual spend of around £10-100k depending on project sizes
  • All of your time will be spent generating new business through your own flooring contractors relationships
  • Conducting regular on site visits to flooring / main contractor projects
    • The ideal applicant will be a Sales Manager - Temporary Floor & Wall Protection Products with:
  • Must have a demonstrable track record in selling to flooring contractors
  • Must have sold a flooring / consumable related product such as flooring protection, temporary screen & partitions, scaffolding protection, flooring, floor tiles, flooring consumables and tools
  • Must have contacts within the flooring industry via flooring contractors, fit out contractors, specialist sub-contractors
  • Ideally have experience selling into main contractors, construction companies, specialist fit-out companies, house builders
  • Ability to sell on company service and be consultative
  • Genuine desire to generate new business relationships
  • Comfortable with selling from high director level down to site level
  • Energetic, Hungry, enthusiastic and personable character
