The role is based remotely covering England and Wales, a central location would be ideal due to travel.The Essence of the RoleReporting into the General manager, the main focus for this role is to source, build and maintain relationships with Credit Unions, Partners and Societies within the insurance sector across England and Wales. You will be responsible for maximising revenuestream, long term profitability and enable effective sales, distribution and retention.The Scope of the Sales Manager

  • Lead client account management, by sourcing, developing and maintaining strategic long-term relationships with credit union clients and partners to accomplish organic growth and long-term objectives
  • Research new potential clients and existing client requirements and create innovative solutions to deliver the clients needs, continually sourcing new clients and partners.
  • Keep abreast of industry news, market trends and build a network to lead on prospects and build new relationships.
  • Continually enhance and build relationships with both existing and potential credit union clients
Prerequisites
  • Proven track record in an insurance, credit union or financial services sector
  • Demonstratable success in a target driven environment
  • Full, clean driving license is essential due to the amount of travel in this role
  • Solid background in account management
  • Possess a growth mindset and strong commercial work ethic
