Job Description

Role: Sales ManagerLocation: NationalSalary: £60k plus Car Allowance + BenefitsCompany OverviewOur client is dedicated to providing dynamic retail experiences and pioneering productivity solutions that enhance the business operations of their clients. They consistently refine their capabilities and reinvest in their business to offer higher performingsolutions for brands and retailers. Due to continued growth they are now looking to recruit a talented Sales Manager to join their team.Sales Manager Main ObjectivesAssume responsibility for acquiring new clients and generating business opportunities by securing significant accounts within their designated markets. This entails promoting their products and services, as well as, overseeing customer relationships. Therole involves fostering account development, ensuring long-term sales growth, enhancing customer satisfaction, and optimising profitability.Sales Manager Responsibilities

  • Cultivate and manage customer relationships, establishing and sustaining rapport across various organisational levels.
  • Conduct professional and impactful sales presentations.
  • Prepare and effectively communicate project proposals, quotations, and comprehensive meeting reports to clients.
  • Provide support during contract negotiations.
  • Receive, comprehend, and document customer briefs, ensuring seamless communication of requirements with the organisation.
  • Collaborate with clients to agree on project proposals, ensuring the acquisition of purchase orders before project initiation.
  • Develop annual updates for strategic business plans related to key accounts within the annual sales forecast.
  • Regularly submit quarterly year-end sales forecasts, making necessary revisions.
  • Generate detailed contact/meeting reports following company guidelines for all business meetings
  • Bi-weekly reporting to the Director of Sales, outlining key activities, priorities, customer intelligence, opportunities and financial data.
  • Provide weekly updates through the submission of planned diaries.
  • Maintain open communication with their international offices to stay informed of global developments
  • Ensure timely submission of all agreed upon report to clients
Qualifications and Skills
  • Experience working in a sales capacity, including upselling products and services and negotiating on contracts
  • Executing sales presentations
  • Product based sales business experience
  • Great at building and maintaining strong relationships with clients.
  • Experience of working on business strategies and how to report on this.
  • Reporting on year end sales forecasts
  • Self-motivated and driven
  • Ability to travel to International offices and locations within Europe and overseas when necessary
