Job Description

Childrens social worker- Safeguarding Assessor in BirminghamHere at Eden Brown we are searching for a qualified Social Worker with experience in Childrens safeguarding to join a busy yet supportive team in Birmingham.Start date: ASAPRate of pay: £32.34 phThis role will involve the following:

  • Conducting regular safeguarding investigations and assessments.
  • CIN and CP caseloads
  • Court work including writing reports, statements and being an expert witness.
  • Child protection case conferences
  • Statutory looked after children reviews
  • Managing your time and caseload with accurate timekeeping and information recording
    • Essential Requirements:
  • Must have a Degree in social work/ qualification equivalent
  • At least 2 years experience within a similar role
  • Social Work England Registration

  • Agile working - mixed model of home working with max 2 days in office per week
  • 35hrs working week
