Job Description

Teaching Personnel are currently recruiting for a Religious Studies teacher on behalf of our client Secondary school located in Birmingham (B8) for a maternity cover from Easter.This position has recently opened due to a resignation within the department. The successful educator will be required to start after Easter, however the school can accomodate an earlier or later start date. If successfull, you will be required to teachReligious Education up to KS4, with some PSHE also on the timetable.

  • Religious Education teacher required to start after Easter or later 2022
  • Pay in line with MPS/UPS dependant on experience
  • Full time role
  • Leading a timetable consisting of KS3 and GCSE Religious Studies
  • Planning and marking responsibilities for the incoming RS Teacher
The school aim to appoint a passionate and dedicated RS teacher who is able to motivate their students during the lesson, creating a sense of enthusiasm in class in order to increase the amount of pupils that enrol onto RS at GCSE level.
