Job Description

Reward PartnerBirmingham, West Midlands (with hybrid working)We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Reward Partner to join our team in Birmingham. As the Reward Partner, you will role model our Ways of Working and will build capability, resources, and confidence both within People Services and the organisation to makeit a great place to work. Whether that’s through flexible working, really understandinghow you work best or exposing you to real opportunities to challenge yourself, if you’re passionate about making your mark on the industry and on society, then we will help you do that.Your RoleAs Reward Partner, youll play a pivotal role through data insights and market research to embed a reward strategy to suit our organisation, a grading framework, how we benchmark, salary bands/transparency, all reward related activity that will enhance ourcolleague experience and drive our strategic plans.Your role will also involve:- You will collaborate with our People Advisor to develop and implement policies and procedures related to compensation, benefits, and rewards; collaborating with key stakeholders to maintain effective reward strategies that attract, motivate, and retain toptalent.- You will ensure we are compliant with relevant legislation and the Civil Service Pay Remit guidance.- Along with our People Advisor, provide guidance and support to managers and colleagues on all reward-related matters, including any case disputes regarding job grade and pay.- You will advise on and implement reward solutions that align to the Commission’s reward strategy.- You will work with colleagues across OD, Partnering and L&D to ensure the reward framework supports workforce planning, succession planning and the ongoing development of career pathways.- You will support with implementing and embedding our pay and reward structures, employee benefits, and incentives that align with the Commission’s strategic priorities.- Support the annual pay review process including external market research.- Manage all aspects of living wage, NMW audits and equal pay and gender pay gap reporting, salary surveys and statutory reporting including the annual pay remit ensuring compliance with the Civil Service guidance.- Provide regular reports and analyse output related to all areas of reward.About YouThe successful candidate will have the following skills and experience:- You will have up to date knowledge of employment legislation and potential future developments.- You will have excellent communication and team working skills.- You will be able to interpret and present people data and have strong IT skills.- You will have significant reward experience including the development and implementation of policy and frameworks.- You will have experience of implementing pay reviews and undertaking associated pay modelling.- You will be able to build trust-based relationships with a wide range of demanding and diverse senior stakeholders.- You will have experience of consulting and negotiating with trade unions on reward matters.Desirable:- You will ideally be CIPD qualified or have equivalent reward management experience.- Experience of Willis Towers Watson job evaluation process.- You will have reward experience which ideally reflects civil service pay policy.- You will have a natural curiosity and enjoy researching latest trends.- You will be able to prioritise and respond to requests with tight deadlines, along with multi-tasking in a fast-paced working environment, whilst still maintaining a strong attention to detail.- You will be flexible and adaptable, managing a wide variety of tasks, and dealing with unexpected changes at short notice.About UsSet up under the Gambling Act 2005, the Gambling Commission is committed to safeguarding the public against any detrimental impact brought about by gambling.
