Job Description

Resource Deployment Consultant - UK&I ResourcingThe Opportunity:The Resource Deployment Consultant is a key member of the Audit Service Line Resource Deployment team and wider UK&I Resource Deployment network.The role encompasses the following:

  • Ensure optimal Audit Mobility demand and supply management for resource deployment within the business area.
  • You will be given the opportunity to develop within the team and build expert knowledge of your clients.
  • Manage the bench/capacity and identify creative opportunities to optimise productivity and profitability for the Audit Service Line
  • Act as the first point of contact for resourcing conflicts and issues, escalating to the Resource Deployment Manager as per protocols
  • Your Key Responsibilities:
  • Tracking the productivity targets for each service line team in order to manage and drive performance.
  • Sharing performance and discuss trends, interventions and actions to improve results with your Resource Deployment Manager work on driving positive change.
  • Managing your allocated Sub-Service Line (SSL) ensuring the optimal demand and supply management for resource deployment.
  • Workforce planning - managing clashes of resources and managing any shortages or complexities from demand requests.
  • Challenge the commercial drivers of the resourcing decisions.
  • Regularly review resource allocation and manage the rotation of resourcing.
  • Understanding client handler skills and experience management.
  • Applying a D&I lens on all resourcing decisions
  • Ensuring new joiners are allocated onto chargeable work
  • Providing a Resource Management induction to all technical new joiners
  • To qualify for the role, you must be:
  • Experience in a resource management environment is desirable
  • Strong stakeholder management skills
  • Ability to work quickly under pressure towards set deadlines.
  • Excellent negotiator with an ability to manage conflicts
  • Able to prioritise their workloads and efficiently manage multiple tasks simultaneously
