Job Description

KM Recruitment is a specialist UK wide recruiter for the Skills and Employability sectors.Job Title:Residential Childcare Assessor / TrainerLocation:Home/Field based - Must be flexible with travel across the West MidlandsSalary:up to £32,000 + Excellent Bonus Scheme up to an additional £10,000 OTE (Depending on qualifications and experience)Package:Excellent Benefits Package, Bonus, Pension, Expenses + much moreType:Full Time, PermanentEssential Criteria:

  • Hold either a recognised Assessor award: D32/33, A1, CAVA or TAQAORTeaching qualification at Level 3 or above (PTLLS/AET).
  • Ideally have experience of delivering Apprenticeships in Residential Childcare ideally up to Level 5
  • Hold a minimum of 2 years’ occupational competency at Team Leader level or above within a Residential Childcare setting.
  • Must hold a Level 3 in Residential Childcare as a minimum.
  • Full, clean, UK driving licence and access to own vehicle.
  • Must be flexible with travel.
Duties include:
  • Assess and support a caseload oflearners working towards Residential Childcare Apprenticeships up to Level 5.
  • Support learners with Functional Skills Maths and English to Level 2.
  • Managing your diary efficiently to ensure timely reviews and meetings are conducted.
  • Conduct online video meetings and training sessions with learners.
  • Organise and maintain documentation on learners progress.
  • Support, advise and motivate learners.
  • Overcome barriers to learning and adapt delivery to meet learner’s needs.
