Organising the online publication schedule, you will ensure all articles are proofread beforebeing uploaded to our website and scheduled for promotion on social media channels.In addition, you will:- Seek out innovative research ideas and academic research groups, individuals and organisations related to veganism- Keep up to date with the latest trends, developments and market research within the vegan industry- Support ongoing consumer research by assisting with background research, drafting content and figure checking- Undertake general administrative dutiesAbout YouTo join us as a Research Assistant, you will need:- Excellent writing and research skills with an attention to detail- The ability to complete tasks efficiently and accurately from written and verbal briefings- The ability to work well independently with excellent organisational skills - Strong interpersonal skills particularly when composing emails and communicating with external organisations and individuals- A demonstrable interest in research, academia, education, knowledge-exchange, market research, social sciences and how this can bring about a positive change in the vegan movement- A working knowledge of Microsoft Office- Good general knowledge and understanding of vegan issues- Educated to A-Level standardAdministrative experience would be beneficial to your application as would prior research experience. Editorial co-ordination experience would be advantageous as would an interest in trends and developments within the vegan market, including areas outside offood and drink such cosmetics, fashion and vehicles.An understanding of working in and/or with NGOs or small charitable organisations would be desirable as would an understanding of editorial processes and online content.This a full time (37.5 hour) position. Remote working will be considered but the successful candidate may be required to travel to our offices in Birmingham.The closing date for applications is 9am on Friday 19th November 2021.
