Job Description

Remedial Water Hygiene Technician£19,000 - £22,000 (dependent on experience) + benefits - BirminghamWe are recruiting Remedial Water Hygiene Technicians in Birmingham for one of the leading companies in risk and compliance. supporting their customers in the compliance of legislation and protecting them from hazardous materials or activities. As a RemedialWater Hygiene Technician, you will be expected to carry out daily duties such as temperature monitoring and sampling, cleaning and disinfection of stored water tanks, upgrading cold water storage tanks and responding to call outs.Key duties of a Remedial Technician:

  • Cleaning and disinfection of cold-water storage tanks
  • Carry out thermometer and ladder calibrations.
  • Closed system analysis and dosing
  • Temperature monitoring and sampling
  • Liase with suppliers, clients and tenants
Experience required of a Remedial Technician:
  • NVQ or City & Guilds Level 2 in Plumbing
  • Hold a valid CSCS card
  • Full UK driving license
  • Good communicator
  • Independent worker
  • DBS check
