Job Title: Remedial PlumberLocation: Birmingham, West Midlands. Salary / Benefits £22k - £38k + Training + BenefitsWe are recruiting for a Water Hygiene / Legionella company who hold a national presence working on Educational, Leisure, Construction and Food & Beverage sites. They are now looking to recruit a Remedial Plumber. You will have experience working as a Plumberfor a Water Hygiene / Legionella Company, carrying out various Plumbing duties e.g., deadleg removal, rerouting and removing pipework, and finding faults on site, ensuring they are dealt with efficiently. Candidates will have extensive experience and a strongunderstanding of legionella compliance and remedial plumbing, which they will use to act as lead on site and provide on-going training and support to new starter. Experience working in the Water Hygiene / Legionella industry. " Excellent communication skills. " Full working knowledge of ACoP L8 / Health & Safety guidelines. " IT Literate. " G3 unvented ticket (ideal but not essential)The Role:" Carrying out CWST refurbishment and installs. " TMV installs, replacement, and servicing. " Installing cylinders if G3 unvented certificate is obtained. " Deadleg removals. " Removing and rerouting of PVC / copper pipework. " Carrying out fault finding on site and dealing with any issues in a timely manner. " Expansion valve installation. " Ensuring work is carried out in line with ACoP L8 / Health & Safety guidelines. " Maintaining excellent working relationships with clients. " Checking plumbing work on site and singing off upon completion. " Assisting in training new starters.
