Engineers who have experience working in heavier industries such as metal works, steel works/steelprocessing facilities, foundries or brickworks are encouraged to apply. The successful reliability engineer will ideally be apprentice trained, time served or equivalent. You will ideally have good project management skills.Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, you will be responsible for asset care management of the machinery within your area. You will be predominantly mechanically focused and seek to improve machinery reliability. You will carry out machinery strip down,rebuild and work to improve machinery productivity and efficiency. You will take a technical lead on all machinery projects. As part of your role, you will order all parts and spares for your area. You will write and document machinery performance reports.You will work closely with the maintenance team leaders to ensure that your area of the manufacturing facility is working to its optimum.This is a fantastic opportunity to secure a role where you have the ability to work on a wide range of machinery, where no two shifts will be the same.
