Job Description

  • Develop label briefs which the artwork team can create labels, designs and content from.
  • Supporting design team with artwork content, checks and amends for UK & international SKUs
  • Working with the team to review any specific labelling requirements by territory during product development.
  • Providing regulatory approval of artwork content, gaining customer and Regulatory
  • Manager approval for final artwork submissions.
  • Work directly with customer compliance teams within the project to ensure speed of execution and customer satisfaction.
  • Contributing to project updates with latest status and working with the team to overcome any hurdles. Assist with supplier/ SKU setups, aligned to the stage-gate process.
  • Update master data with new SKU info, including input from across the product team.
  • Work closely with ops/finance/account managers/product managers on transitioning from old SKUs to new and assisting with the setup process of NPDs.
  • Helping with key information on transition dates to ensure appropriate cleardown of old variants.
Person Specification
  • Previous experience within food regulations is essential. (including education)
  • Qualification in Food Science, Food Technology, Food Chemistry or Nutrition.
  • A keen interest in Product Compliance for UK and International markets.
  • Able to work collaboratively across the business.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and an ability to network effectively.
  • Excellent attention to detail and strong organisational skills.
  • The ability to solve problems, make decisions and offer solutions to wider business.
  • Hands on approach with the ability to keep pace with the business growth.
  • Able to operate independently, and as part of a team.
  • Ability to be analytical and manage detailed specifications, whilst also representing the brand.
  • Good analytical skills.
  • Strong IT skills and quick to learn new systems.
  • Excellent communication skills to foster great working relationships with key customers.
  • High levels of accuracy in work and a methodical approach.
