Regional Environmental Health & Safety ManagerNorth/MidlandsCompetitive Salary depending on experience, pension, 25 days holiday + Bank Holidays, Company CarA fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Regional Environmental Health & Safety Manager, working within our clients EHS team, with the world leader in the development and production of inks, dyes and functional coatings.Purpose of the Job:Reporting to the EHS Manager, Northern Europe, the role is in place to ensure the health and safety of all personnel in the designated region through management of risk assessment programs, ensuring regulatory requirements are met, monitoring and support of training needs, investigation and reporting of incidents. The role also includes ensuring protection of the environment and supporting initiating environmental programs as agreed by senior management. The scope of the role encompasses site, field-based and Inplant personnel. The role will also include reporting to senior management on Health Safety and Environmental matters for the region.What you’ll need:You will be highly motivated and energetic with the ability to work on your own Initiative and as part of a team. You will have fantastic communications skills and the ability to build relationships with people at all levels with strong engaging, influencing skills, report writing and presentation skills. You will be practical and pragmatic with a hands-on approach.The role will require several nights away from home per month with significant travel, therefore, a valid UK driving licence is essential.
