Job Description

We are recruiting a Regional Auditor to join our Performance, Quality and Risk team and would love to hear from candidates located in either Birmingham or Manchester.This role is part of our Performance, Quality and Audit Team, which works across Copart to ensure that the business is working efficiently and effectively to deliver a quality service. They are responsible for continuous improvement activities, to ensurecompliance is adhered to, performance targets are achieved and service is constantly evaluated and improved.Responsibilities include:

  • Completion of the annual internal audit programme for all quality and compliance audits, including environmental, health and safety, transport and quality.
  • Providing effective and thorough feedback on audit outcomes, ensuring best practice is understood and shared
  • Tracking audit outcomes and feedback on trends, to prevent future occurrences
  • Understanding our compliance requirements and updating the scope of the audits, in line with process and legislative changes
  • Completion of the ISO standard audits, working with colleagues to understand the management systems in place

  • Proven experience in a similar role
  • Good problem-solving skills
  • Written and spoken communication skills that allow you to inform and advise others clearly
  • The ability to be hands on and lead by example
  • Experience of delivering training to others, either in a group or on a one to one basis
  • Meticulous attention to detail
  • Interpersonal skills that enable you to work with people at all levels of our organisation, motivate others and change peoples attitudes when necessary
  • Excellent presentation skills
  • Experienced in the use of Microsoft Office suite
  • Must have great organisational and planning skills, to manage your time and to meet deadlines and objectives
  • Proactive, enthusiastic, and innovative approach to work, comfortable multi-tasking
  • Must be prepared to travel, with a full driving licence and have a flexible approach to work
Desirable
  • Experience of relevant ISO Standards
  • Automotive sector experience
  • A good understanding of current legislation relating to health and safety and environmental management
  • Previous experience of writing audit scopes and score sheets
