Job Description

Receptionist - Central Birmingham - Temporary Holiday CoverJob Title: ReceptionistContract: 8th November - 24th November, 2023 (2.5 week cover)Location: Central Birmingham (On-site)Salary: Hourly rateHours: 8:00 - 4:30am Mon-FridayRole details - ReceptionistWe are currently looking for an immediately available Receptionist to support a reputable business based in Central Birmingham on a temporary basis.Role responsibilities - Receptionist

  • Serves visitors by greeting, welcoming, and directing them appropriately.
  • Notifies company personnel of visitor arrival.
  • Maintains security and telecommunications system.
  • Informs visitors by answering or referring inquiries.
  • Keeps a safe and clean reception area by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
  • Booking meeting rooms, video conferences and diary management for clients
  • To screen telephone calls, enquiries and requests by providing appropriate responses or signposting within delegated levels of responsibility.
  • To manage correspondence effectively demonstrating professionalism and a high degree of confidentiality and integrity.
  • Providing teas and coffees for visitors, and booking client lunches.
Key skills required of Receptionist
  • Professional telephone manner, confident communicator
  • Previous experience in a Front of House Receptionist role, able to hit the ground-running
  • Available 8th November - 24th November 2023
