I am looking to recruit a Logistics Quality Technician for a leading 3PL distributor based in central Birmingham, the main function of the role is to support both the operational and commercial teams to deliver the highest level of performance to their client onsite.The successful candidate will join in a highly autonomous role, you will have accreditation of a minimum of Green Belt 6 sigma and you will be encouraged to identify future projects for improvement onsite. The company are prepared to help you gain further accreditation within this space…The Logistics Quality Technician will be accountable for monitoring new and existing clients onsite, auditing service performance, ensuring the highest standards are met, providing analysis, and recommending remedial actions as required. There will be weekly reporting to your client to ensure contractual service KPIs are being met, you will be tasked with driving 5S standards and C.I. initiatives.The company is striving to provide a world class delivery offering to their client and you will be tasked with being part of this project. The role has real progression attached to it and with development could see the right person progress through the ranks. To be successful in the role you will have a background in quality performance or quality implementation whilst managing a challenging client. You will need to demonstrate that you are a self-starter with an ability to think outside of the box.Preferably your background will come from either a logistics field or even a manufacturing environment will be considered.
