Job Description

A successful Automotive manufacturing business supplying to major OEMs is actively seeking a Quality Engineer (PPAP) to join its team. This is a client that prides itself on its state-of-the-art machinery and fair work/life balance working ethos. The successfulprofessional will earn a competitive hourly rate (outside IR35) and will have the freedom to work flexible working hours where possible.Quality Engineer overview -

  • To work on the completion of PPAPs during a large-scale tooling transfer project.
Quality Engineer duties include -
  • Liaise with customers on quality (PPAP/APQP) related matters.
  • Report and document any quality defects.
  • Prepare and compile PPAP files for submission.
  • Work effectively with all other team members, ensuring containment/corrective actions are implemented.
Wed love to hear from you if you have the following -
  • Experience working within a similar role (PPAP Engineer etc).
  • Confident use of the core tools - PPAP, PFMEA, ISIR, PSW.
  • IT Literate, able to review and document data correctly.
  • Relevant mechanical engineering education (HNC/HND), or training.
