Job Description

Role: Qualified YEAR 5 TeacherLocation: Nechells, BirminghamStart: 2nd September 2020Pay: £120 - £170 per day dependant on experienceKingston Noble are working on behalf of a Birmingham inner city primary school. On this school’s last Ofsted inspection, it was deemed to be Outstanding. The school’s vision is to ensure that children will have the best possible opportunities to excel. This means that from their starting points they will make good progress throughout their primary school life. They believe every child has the right to develop competency in the key skills of reading, writing and mathematics. All adults at the school are highly committed and talented individuals, who endeavour to give their best each day.This position is full time, starting on 2nd September and will initially be for a year with the opportunity after a successful placement to join on a permanent basis.You will be required:

  • To be a leader of learning who has high expectations of every child.
  • To provide a carefully structured and thorough education experience which enables pupils to achieve their academic and personal potential and to develop skills appropriate to the world of work and life in the twenty first century.
  • To ensure a civilised, caring, healthy and happy community which emphasises high moral standards, self-discipline, emotional and spiritual development.
  • To encourage pupils to participate in an extensive range of sporting, cultural, artistic and enriching activities; to develop an understanding of our responsibilities and our duty to serve the local, national and world communities.
  • Qualifications required:
  • Honours degree from a recognised University
  • Qualified Teacher Status
  • You should also have previous experience teaching KS2
