Python Software Developers x 2 - Permanent opportunity - BirminghamI am working with a Fintech client based in Birmingham who works with financial services and private equity firms to provide bespoke portfolio management services through new machine learning solutions, they are looking to hire two Software Engineers with Python experience to join their delivery team who are currently in the MVP stage of product development with plans to have a prototype ready in July to push to market.This is a permanent role offering competitive salary and benefits with the opportunity to work on the delivery of a cutting-edge product in the Fintech market.This position would be suitable for a developer who holds a BSc in Software Engineering or Computer Science, with a minimum of 3-5 years of professional software engineering experience.The team uses Jira and GitHub and prior experience is extremely beneficial. As a Python Software Engineer, you will gain experience and training on AWS and ML.Essential skills: *Bachelors degree in Computer Science or related degree.*Ability to automate solutions to repetitive problems and tasks.*Experience in the following: Python3, Pandas, Numpy, SQL*Experience of working on Continuous Integration / Continuous Deployment*Experience of working in an Agile/SCRUM, CMMI, DSDM or similar development process environment.*Atlassian tools stack: Jira / Confluence / Crucible / Bamboo*Version control tools: Git (GitHub)*Experience of supporting all aspects of the SDLC (requirements gathering, development, testing, deployment, support).*Write automated tests via TDD to foster effective, reusable, and flexible code.*Design and implement low-latency, high-availability, and performant applications.*Build RESTful APIs.Good to have or willing to learn:*Machine Learning and Natural Language Processing*Building and working with APIs, Flask, Swagger AWS or other cloud environment*Knowledge of JavaScript/React or similar JavaScript frameworks (Angular / Vue / TypeScript)Spring acts as an employment agency for permanent recruitment and an employment business for the supply of temporary workers.
