We have a current opportunity for a Python Developer on a contract basis with our public sector client on an initial 6 Month Contract to work on Health Data related projects.The role can be performed remotely with only day on-site every 3 months for a quarterly meeting.You will be working as a senior software developer within the development team with other engineers in Edinburgh and Nottingham. The team operates in an Agile environment. As a senior developer you will be expected to take a role in the design and implementationof solutions including non-functional aspects such as performance, security, testability and compliance in addition to functional aspects. You will be expected to learn the domain information required to deliver the projects. Such information could be healthdata, genomic data and image data.You will be expected to mentor and support junior members of the development team when required or appropriate. Communicating complex and specialised issues both orally and in writing should be clear for the intended audience. As part of an ISO27001 accreditedorganisation, youll be expected to keep up to date with data governance, the use of privacy enhancing technologies, trusted third parties, and other methods essential for the safe use of patient data. Due to the role potentially having access to sensitivedata, background checks will be carried out on successful candidates.Skills/Experience Required for the role;
