Job Description

We are currently seeking skilled and experienced PTS Electricians for upcoming works starting Q1 2024. As a PTS Electrician, you will play a crucial role in the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems on rail infrastructure projects.The successful candidate will hold a valid Personal Track Safety (PTS) and have a strong background in electrical work within the rail industry.You will be responsible for:

  • Maintenance and installation of walkway lights, points heating and the DNO supplies and circuit testing
  • Interpretation of layout and schematic drawings
  • Putting into action advices impacting the safety of systems into place, undertaking and assist others in safety testing and design works
  • Ensure that all work undertaken is within the limits as laid out in the relevant authority to work permit
What experience do we want you to have
  • In date PTS
  • City & Guilds 18th edition (2382)
  • City & Guilds Inspection and Testing (2391-52)
  • Able to read and draw schematic drawings
  • Aware of the relevant Network Rail Standards and NICEIC requirements for electrical test and inspection
