PROPERTY ENERGY & INFRASTRUCTURE LAWYER 0-5 YRSBIRMINGHAM/LEEDS/MANCHESTER/LONDON/EDINBURGH/GLASGOW ORBELFASTBriefWe are currently looking to recruit a Property Lawyer to join our Property Energy & Infrastructure team, part of our UK national Property Group, preferably based out of our Birmingham office, but we will also consider candidates who wish to be based outof our other English and Scottish offices. We are ideally looking to recruit a candidate from 0-5 years PQE.BackgroundWe boast one of the largest groups of dedicated property lawyers in the UK. For example, this has includedmajor road and rail projects for Transport for London and Highways England, and almost uniquely amongst law firms, we have acted on all of the worlds largest offshore wind farms, all of which are located in UK territorial waters. For big six utility companyEON we have been appointed on a sole adviser basis and the team is responsible for managing EONs entire UK property portfolio including both operational and non-operational sites.The Candidate RequiredThe successful candidate will ideally (but not essential) have gained experience in commercial property with a large regional or national practice and ideally (but again not essential) have some experience of property work on energy and infrastructure projects.They will have a strong academic background and an outgoing personality. Candidates must also be technically excellent but equally important, commercially aware and enthusiastic about, and demonstrate a track record of, business development. They will bea team player with a strong client focussed approach.Lawyers joining this friendly and dynamic team will encounter a broad range ofenergy and infrastructure property work, acting for a range of high-profile clients on large and nationally significant energy and infrastructure transactions. In particularthe successful candidate will work on wind (on and offshore), solar, hydro and nuclear transactions in the energy sphere and road, rail and ports and other major infrastructure projects, acting for a mix of clients, including public authorities, developers,investors, funders and utility companies. Whilst the successful candidate will sit within our property energy and infrastructure team (which is part of our UK national Property Group), they will have close links to our energy and infrastructure sectors, whichare two of our Global Sectors.What will we offer you
