BriefOur Construction and Projects Solutions Team is expanding. We are now looking for a junior lawyer with 0-3 years PQE to join our team in Birmingham or Manchester.Our Birmingham TeamThe team is recognised as the Tier 1 Local Govt Practice and a Tier 1 Energy & Infrastructure Practice in the West Midlands (Legal 500) and continues to act on some landmark and leading edge £bn+ transactions. Core areas of specialism include CommunityEnergy & Smart Cities Solutions (net zero district heating & power solutions / ESCos); energy generation and utilities; wider energy projects; City Deals / Regional Investment Funds; and large-scale residential property development joint ventures / GardenCommunities. The team is widely recognised as leading on some of the most complex and leading edge projects in this space and draws on the support of our market leading national Energy Practice.Our Manchester TeamOur Manchester team is recognised as the Tier 1 Energy and Project Finance Practice in the North West (Legal 500) and leads major regeneration, large-scale residential property development joint ventures / Garden Communities, innovative funding structuresand energy projects, with its highly regarded team handling property development, corporate structuring, construction, project finance, and public procurement issues for public and private sector sponsors and funders.The Candidate RequiredThe successful applicant will be focussed on supporting our growing energy practice whilst providing general support to broader practice. The nature of the workload is broad and varied and operates across a range of legal disciplines including energy regulation,corporate, public law, banking, construction, procurement and state aid. An understanding of the local authority sector is helpful, but not essential as training will be provided. Applicants will however have ideally completed a Corporate seat in a leadingcommercial law firm and will have a genuine interest in pursuing a career in Energy and Projects.A team player with a strong academic background and excellent communication, organisational and interpersonal skills is essential for this dynamic team.What will we offer you
